Rajinikanth said: I and my party will not contest the Lok Sabha elections 2019
Tamil film star Rajinikanth has announced that he and his party will not contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He also made it clear that he or his party’s symbol will not be used during the campaign. Rajinikanth had announced to come to politics on December 31 last year.
Party will not support anyone in Lok Sabha elections’
Rajinikanth had earlier said that his party would contest all the constituencies of Tamil Nadu. He is considered close to the BJP. In a program Kamal Haasan was asked if he would combine with Rajinikanth. On this Hassan said that if his color is saffron, then if not his color is saffron.
In November last year, Rajinikanth described BJP as dangerous. However, he later clarified that BJP is dangerous for the opposition. It is the job of people to determine whether the ruling party is dangerous to the public. In response to a question, he said that if all the opposition parties call the BJP as dangerous, then surely it will be so.
According to Rajinikanth, “When I was asked that all the parties are getting united against the BJP, is the BJP a dangerous party? I said on this if they all think so, it would be so. The BJP is dangerous for opposition parties. I do not want to give my personal opinion on this.
Tamil Superstar said, “If 10 people come together against any one, then who is more influential? However, he did not make it clear that he is asking this for Prime Minister Narendra Modi or for the BJP. When asked, he said that he has not come into politics completely because he can not give his opinion on this.
Rajinikanth said in the statement that my party will not support any party in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, no other party should use my photo or party’s flag in the name of my party Rajni Makkal Mandram and Rajni Fan Club.
Rajinikanth said, “The main problem in Tamil Nadu is water. After the Lok Sabha elections, the government formed at the center should solve the problem of water in the state so that people can trust them and vote.”
