Lok Sabha elections 2019: Arvind Kejriwal promises full statehood for Delhi within 24 months if AAP wins all 7 seats
Walking in the campaign for that approaching Lok Sabha elections, Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday guaranteed full statehood to Delhi in 2 years when the party won all seven seats.
Kejriwal also stated he’d get families a home to reside in the town if his party won the overall elections within the city.
Speaking at two public conferences on Thursday, the main minister also criticised the Congress because of not accepting AAP’s ‘repeated offers’ to have an alliance in Delhi to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). “Across India, votes from the BJP shouldn’t be divided no matter what. Even just in Delhi, there must only be one candidate from the BJP. We’ve got fed up with frequently telling the Congress that there must be an alliance together and also the AAP. The CM on Thursday inaugurated development works in four unauthorised colonies of Gandhi Nagar set up constituency. As many as 181 lanes of 9.30 kilometres could be built underneath the project during these colonies.
