Lok Sabha Elections 2019- 127 candidates for eight seats in the sixth phase
In the sixth phase polling, the fate of 127 candidates in Bihar is to be decided on May 12. In this phase, eight seats will be held in Valmikinagar, Eastern Champaran, West Champaran, Shivar, Vaishali, Gopalganj, Sivan and Maharajganj. A total of 13,963 polling stations have been set up in this phase. In this phase, 1 crore 36 lakh 67 thousand 828 people will use their franchise.
Two-two EVMs will be installed in four parliamentary constituencies, Eastern Champaran, Shivar, Vaishali and Siwan. Due to the number of candidates being more than 15, two-two EVMs will be required. 13 in Valmikinagar, 09 in West Champaran, 22 in East Champaran, 18 in Shivarh, 22 in Vaishali, 13 in Gopalganj (Su), 19 in Siwan and 11 candidates in Maharajganj.
According to the Election Commission, the process of deployment of paramilitary forces has started on the elections of this phase. In the fifth phase of the five parliamentary constituencies, security forces are being sent to the sixth phase of polling areas. The investigation, blockade and raiding operations have been started in these areas.
