Amroha Lok Sabha Election 2019: Uncle Shivpal is fighting a nephew’s coalition
Angry by the stand of SP President and nephew Akhilesh Yadav, Chacha Shivpal Yadav left the party and formed a separate party named after progressive Samajwadi Party (Lohia). His recently formed party is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time. Shivpal Yadav has fielded candidates in all the seats except for the mainpuri constituency in the state to contest the SP. In this way, the candidates of Shivpal and Akhilesh coalition candidates have come face to face in the first phase. However, in the second phase, the first stiff competition between Amaoha’s uncle and nephew is being considered. Because of this, Amroha’s electoral battle has become interesting.
Dalit-Muslim judges in tri-match
There is a triangular contest on Amroha Lok Sabha seat. The Congress had first cast Rashid Alvi on this seat, but he refused to contest the elections. After this, Sachin Chowdhary is in the election field from the Congress ticket. The BJP has reaffirmed Congress MP Kanwar Singh Tanwar in this seat. Parliamentary history of amroha
In the Amroha Lok Sabha seat, the Congress has been in the forefront of the three elections from 1952 to 1971. After this two CPIs recorded the number of seats from this seat. After this, there was a lot of pressure between the Janata Party and the Congress here. In 1977 and 1980, the Janata Party won this seat. After this, in 1984, the Congress waved its pancham here. In 1989, the Janata Dal occupied this seat again. In 1996, the SP won from here. In 1998, when former cricketer Chetan Chauhan won the BJP ticket here, the Amroha Lok Sabha area suddenly came to the headlines. Ralod also tasted victory in 2009. BJP MPs of Amroha are the richest
BJP candidate Kanwar Singh Tanwar won the bumper victory in Amroha Lok Sabha seat in 2014. He became MP for the first time. He defeated Humera Akhtar of SP by nearly one lakh votes. Kanwar Singh Tanwar got 5,28,880 votes (48.3 per cent) in the last elections. Humera Akhtar of SP got 3,70,666 (33.8 percent) and BSP’s Farhat Hassan got 1,62,983 (14.9 percent) votes.
